She reminds me more of The Crow than of Pris... but perhaps if I were there, things would be different.

I would love to play with the clay dolls... but I would be so afraid they would break. And what's stupid is a have a kiln and can make them. Maybe I should try to? I need to look at your dolls closer to see how they are. I'm so silly, I suppose.

These images are very symetical and balanced. It's very interesting because the subject is such an unusual prescense, perhaps you unconsciously did the comp so symetrical to counterbalance what our minds would automatically react to such a controversal doll?

I must have a closer look at the Crow compared with Pris, though I agree if you were there, things would be incredibly and almost unimaginably, different... it'd be interesting to do, I'm sure I'd like it....

The clay ones are a lot more fragile. I try not to think about it much. There are just certain things I have to remember not to do, like force a sleeve over a hand which may be too tight.

I'm very much looking forward to a day when you begin to make dolls Mercy! That'd be such a good day...

I didn't consider the doll to be controversial, though perhaps she may be for some people. I can understand exactly what you're saying about the symmetry! I've been watching a lot of Greenaway movies! But I have to admit that when I take photographs I don't consider an audience at all. Sometimes I wonder if I should.....but I don't. I always seem to drift off when I'm taking pictures and don't consider where they might end up at all. Though some never go onto the internet and only exist as prints....

She does remind me of Pris! :D Such a nice doll.
I missed your photos a lot, guess it's time for me to check the past entries of this journal...

It's great to hear from you Serena and thanks. I've missed your photos a lot too.
I've been really busy with my new job and haven't been online all that much, just hanging on by a thread :)

Jyukou-Pris' hands are a work of art.

You are seriously tempting me into Custom House territory, do you know that? ;)

I've always been attracted by hands, knees and feet. They can be as expressive as faces sometimes can't they! Custom House territory is very different and interesting. I think so anyway. No I didn't know that, but I enjoyed hearing it XD
